Anya Volz comes from Vermont. People from all across America have described her stand-up as being surprisingly funny, and even not that preached. They moved with the family out of Buenos Aires to Victoria, London as Taylor-Joy reached the age of six. Taylor Joy says that moving was very traumatic. She was not willing to learn English and hoped she could return to Argentina. Hill House, a school in the same district as Northlands was required to enroll her. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school productions. She dropped out of high school when she was 16 in order to focus on her acting profession. The dream of Taylor-Joy to become an actor of professional caliber was born at an early age.
