Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films typically horror films and martial arts. Her style is similar to The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. The reviewer began her journey around the middle of 2009, after she was popular in their forum. (Under the name of her previous handle Obscurus Lupa), she was invited to join Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome team. The channel was online until 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents became Movie Nights. She has two podcasts co-hosted and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She's appeared in Brad Jones' show Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing horrible children's movies as well as RiffTrax Live Shows, as well in occasional adult-oriented comedies (such such as Baywatch 2017.). Then, in the latter half of 2009, she started reviewing films, and gained popularity in the Channel Awesome forums. She joined the network's family of movie critics. She has appeared on countless Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She was a former member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and was often seen on the show Nostalgia Critic.
